What we know matters, but who we are matters more

I started my massage journey in 2018 with one intention in mind - to do good. This led me to explore different modalities and techniques that could help clients on their healing journey. After massage school I got certified in Ashiatsu in order to provide a deeper tissue massage that offered results without the pain. I then studied aromatherapy and learned about creating essential oils blends that would complement massage and how to incorporate more natural products in everyday life. I received training in prenatal and postpartum to better support moms on their prenatal journey. My hope is that when moms have a positive association with pregnancy they’ll be more loving, nurturing and connected with their babies which play a big role in their development. Infant and pediatric classes are on my agenda for the near future because I believe it’s important to work through trauma at a young age so their bodies don’t hold onto things that can impact them as adults. My most recent training is in craniosacral therapy which I feel was the missing piece to my massage journey. Craniosacral therapy guides me to the root cause so once a blockage is released clients feel a more permanent change and they’re able to let go of what no longer serves them.

Massage has opened my mind to how much physical and emotional trauma our bodies hold and how powerful natural healing can be if we listen to our inner physician. My goal as a therapist is to change the world one body at a time by encouraging clients to listen to their body. We’re not our best selves when we’re physically, mentally or emotionally hurting. Self care allows us to recharge to be happy, healthy and present for the moments that matter most. Massage may be a job for some people but for me it feels like a life calling. I’m grateful and honored to be part of your healing journey.
